Senior Usher Board

An Usher is a very important officer of the church who serves in an orderly manner and a caretaker of the Church and all its treasures, material and souls.We must clearly understand the relation of our ushering to the worship service.  It is not merely to direct person to their seats, but it is more than that. It is a service rendered to God, by your serving mankind, an act which plays a great part in conducting the worship service. The usher sees to it that an atmosphere of reverence and order is maintained before, during and after service, he or she does it for God.The Usher greets the worshiper on sacred ground, and reflects that obligation by making a greeting that is warm and embracing without inflicting any worldly persuasions. The atmosphere within the Church is always one of consecration and reflection towards God. The work of Ushering is enormous, but the Lord who has called us into this ministry will always supply the grace to be faithful.
