Evangelist Peggy Ann Scott began her journey at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church when she was a teenager. Here is where she received her Evangelist License to Preach under the pastoral ship of Reverend Joseph Cousin in February 2002. In 2005 Evangelist Scott founded Norristown Family Christian Center, later renamed, Sanctuary of Praise Ministry, located at 532 DeKalb St in Norristown, PA. For ten years she served as the Pastor of this ministry and through those ten years she lead many people to Christ. In May 2015 Sanctuary of Praise had its last worship service at that location and Evangelist Scott return to her Home Church, Mount Zion. She currently serves under the Senior Pastor, Reverend Carlos D. Bounds; as co-director of the Women Ministry, teaches Adult Church School on the 4th Sundays, is a member of the Ministerial Staff and Evangelism Outreach Ministry. Evangelist Scott is a faithful member of the Faith Praise & Worship Ministry, she loves attending Bible Study and Enjoys (everything) Church. She is a Graduate of Montgomery County Community College with a Degree in Applied Science - Human Services. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. Evangelist Scott also attended Palmer Theological Seminary and she holds a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Studies. She is presently applying to pursue her Bachelor Degree and plans to complete her remaining ten credits at Palmer for a Diploma in Biblical Studies. She serves on several Boards in the County and loves doing Community Events. Evangelist Scott is the Mother of two Son’s and she has three beautiful grandchildren.
